Dr. Ellis Ingram, MD, DiverseMedicine Board of Directors member, is retired Senior Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. A native of Detroit, MI, Dr. Ingram received his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan. He has served as a Professor of Pathology and Chief of Cytopathoogy for over 30 years. Along with his wife, he founded a community outreach center for inner city children called Granny’s House and an academic focused mentoring program called CALEB Science Club. His passion for mentoring earned him the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mentoring bestowed by President George W. Bush.
